So let me tell you a little bit about myself and why I want to do this blog. That should be a fairly generic and good first blog, but for my first time I won't go for anything special.
My name is Timothy Pitts, and I was born and raised in Maine. Maine is a cold, baron State in the USA where the only thing larger than the population of people, is the population of trees. Imagine, growing up in a state were you have no billboards, firework shops, large lights and memorable buildings, in fact I don't think we have a building that goes up to 15 floors, and even if we do I can't imagine we have more than a handful.
A place like this is sure to leave a childhood of quiet, thinkable serenity. The upside is its a great place to raise children. It's quiet, the people are mostly nice, as long as you can live to sleeping to the sounds of nature no matter where you are, and the constant cold. The downside is the maturity level. Most people who come out of Maine have a low maturity level. *Keep in mind this is a bias view. I am from Eastern Maine, and we are close to Southern Maine.* Southern Maine has many immature students from what I have seen. I have been down and seen it, and sure they have a lot of aceptions, but I would say a good 78% of Southern Maine, when they aren't trying to keep from bathing, live in shoddy homes, with broken windows, and speed up whenever they see a deer because hitting it means they can eat it. You will notice these ones because they will ALWAYS be clad in neon orange and forest camo, despite the fact that it isn't hunting season. However, in the argument of Southern Maine, GREAT car service. (: Everybody down there is pretty much at least a little automotive inclined. Eastern Maine is sort of like the middle ground between them and the kids from Northern Maine. The ones who grow up in all the big buildings, and not trailers.
However nice and quiet Maine is, it is an expensive state to live in, so, you know, I suppose that explains southern Maine. No I do not have a funny "Mainah" accent so don't ask.
But growing up in this state gave me a lot of time to think. All this thinking led to a lot of realizations about the world around me which I believe others need to hear, *hence a blog*. Sure it might not ALL be relevant to EVERYBODY, but I do like being herd, and I do enjoy talking, writing , and stating my mind. So yeah, I suppose I will post this blog every now and then, and if you like it, keep up with it. I have a lot of things to talk about, so yeah (:
